Dubai based diversified technology company Merlin Digital has announced the introduction of a next-generation range of ultra-portable Pocket Projectors.
According to the company the new Pocket Projector V2, the first in the market with a built in digital video player, is a pass-through, full VGA pocket projector.
Its comprehensive PC, video and audio connectivity is designed to enable easy connection to laptops and netbooks, as well as smartphones, digital media players, digital cameras, camcorders, games consoles and other multimedia devices. The device projects images from 8′ up to 80′ on any flat surface and its enhanced battery life provides continuous viewing time of between one and three hours without the need to plug it into the mains.
The projector also features two built-in half-watt speakers; an integral digital media player with 2GB of memory on board that can be expanded to 64GB via SD cards – that can allow the user to store over a 100 full length movies; and a tripod for situations where greater stability and balance is required.
