Gourmet Gulf, a pioneering food and beverage retail company operating premier casual dining brands in the Gulf, announced the opening of three franchise stores YO! Sushi, Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) and California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) in the 2.1-million square-foot Mirdiff City Centre, Dubai’s brand-new family destination and home to more than 450 world class stores.With this, the total number of international franchise outlets operated by the company has reached 20. Gourmet Gulf Company currently operates outlets in the UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and has announced plans to have 100 outlets by 2014.

Gourmet Gulf is set to open seven outlets in Saudi Arabia during 2010, and is on the look-out for more. The company’s most ambitious thrust will be in India, where JSMGCC India Pvt Ltd — Gourmet Gulf Company’s joint venture with Mumbai-based JSM Corporation – will launch outlets of California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) across India.
