Building on its strategic growth of the past several years, the MAGNET Global Network of independent advertising agencies has moved into the Middle East, with the addition of Enjaz, a regional creative shop based in Dubai, with a branch office in Abu Dhabi, and international ties around the world.
Enjaz is led by Executive Creative Director Charbel Bousraih, who brings nearly two decades of international advertising and marketing experience to the firm. Enjaz services clients in a variety of industries from B-to-B, real estate, education, fashion/apparel and financial, to food and beverage, government, healthcare, hospitality, retail and tourism. Key clients include Majid Al Futaim, SunCity Cairo, HNS Group International Egypt, Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Al Jaber Group, AJA Aviation and Abu Dhabi Media Company among others.
Bousraih says Enjaz joined MAGNET to facilitate better understanding of the Middle Eastern consumer with his counterparts in the West and Europe and to open opportunities for his firm in other parts of the world. We’re now a ‘Glocal’ creative boutique, keeping our USP paying the closest attention to partners.
“I want to open the window to more understanding of the dynamics and give real insight into how ‘East meets West.’ What drew us to MAGNET is its global market penetration, while preserving each agency and territory’s distinct individuality and local color. We hope we can be of as much value to the other members as we know they will be to us in enhancing our core offerings to clients.”
Whether marketing global brands or local products and services, successful advertising is still based on fully understanding specific consumers in individual markets, according to Cheri Gmiter, executive director of MAGNET. “Our members are constantly in need of market intelligence and ‘feet on the ground’ in locales around the world. The Middle East continues to increase in importance for our members, so we wanted to have a presence there, and believe Enjaz will be a tremendous partner in helping members expand service to clients in the Middle East and to develop collaborative business opportunities.”
