Arabian Radio Network (ARN), the largest radio broadcasting group in the UAE, today announced more than 130 delegates participated in the second day’s proceedings of the first-ever RADIOlogy conference, an ARN Plus initiative focusing on effectively understanding and utilizing radio advertising.
Led by the highly acclaimed creative radio guru Ralph van Dijk, the event that opened on 6 December runs until 10 December at the Palladium Conference Centre in Dubai Media City. The first day witnessed the participation of 110 registered delegates. Participants shared their experience with van Dijk on both days, while benefiting from the renowned radio guru’s significant industry expertise.
The identical sessions on the first two days included keynote presentations, creative workshops and master classes that were designed to enhance participants’ knowledge in engaging their target audience. The conference aims to look at the psychology of radio advertising and its methods of application in every step – from brief to production.
Mahmoud Al Rasheed, General Manager of ARN, said: “The workshop on the first two days threw light on various aspects of radio advertising, including how improvement could be made in certain areas. International radio guru van Dijk offered special insights and ways to learn from the evolving global trends as well as how new key techniques can be suitably incorporated in this region.
